While working at the beautiful Earthbound Gardens, located along Ontario's majestic Bruce Peninsula, I was extremely fortunate to catch a glimpse of dozens of Monarch caterpillars at play.  It had been raining heavily all day.  When the skies cleared I set out to work along the rows of milkweeds and daylillies.  Chasing one another along the elevated limbs and leaves of the milkweeds were these two, feeding along the way, for their much anticipated metamorphosis.  
 
This is an 8" x 10" matted photographic print, encased behind 2mm glass, in an acrylic frame.  A gold finish, with fine, black etching design embossed throughout the surface.  This piece comes with a signed and registered certificate of authenticity.  Frame dimension is 15" x 12".
