Ice, Granite, Snow, Trees was captured while exploring the majestic Bruce Caves in Wiarton, Ontario, during the desolate month of February. It is around this time that the caves have seen no visitors for many months, as it is an exceptionally difficult place to visit in the winter. From the nearest access point one must endure a two mile trek through a very deep blanket of snow in order to get there. Dense as the forest along this stretch of the Niagara Escarpment is, my arrival that day was well worth the strenuous efforts and preparation that it took to get there.
